Role Summary:

  • Implement and uphold company safety protocols, standards, and procedures.
  • Interpret and apply HSE regulations and technical guidelines.
  • Manage contractor safety initiatives, including evaluation and documentation of contractors involved in operations.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and internal policies.
  • Engage in HSE incident investigations utilizing the 5 Why analysis method, ensuring follow-up on recommendations.
  • Report on incidents, near misses, and environmental releases to management and HSE departments as required.
  • Perform site assessments, safety evaluations, and hazard identification in the field.
  • Oversee Permit to Work processes, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
  • Ensure the availability and maintenance of safety equipment, such as personal protective gear.
  • Review audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Lead risk management and HSE initiatives, including assessments and safety meetings.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new and existing personnel.
  • Monitor work environments to foster a culture of safety and accountability among employees.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a technical or HSE-related role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Position Details:

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Compensation: $60 per hour, with a per diem of $125 and mileage reimbursement for fieldwork.
