Our skilled team of medical professionals, technologists, and support staff is devoted to ensuring the most precise, safe, timely, and compassionate medical imaging services, including MRI, CT, mammography, and x-ray, as well as interventional radiology treatments for various health conditions.
We are seeking Customer Service Specialists
Position Overview: We are in search of enthusiastic and motivated individuals for our customer service operations center who can provide an exemplary patient engagement experience. The role involves optimizing efficiency through the management of incoming medical imaging orders, assisting patients and healthcare providers with inquiries, and coordinating exam schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a company representative with each customer interaction; ensure customers feel heard by summarizing their requests and outlining the next steps to be taken.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional and friendly manner, assessing caller needs to transfer them appropriately.
- Deliver exceptional service by efficiently scheduling patient exams and maximizing appointment availability, utilizing computerized scheduling systems.
- Provide accurate information by addressing inquiries and assisting as needed; escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain the call center database by timely and accurately entering and verifying patient information.
- Keep detailed customer call logs to ensure clarity in activities performed and outstanding tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret both electronic and printed documents with basic medical terminology.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense in customer interactions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer applications, phone systems, and other electronic resources.
- Experience: Previous experience in a call center or healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory.
