Role Summary

The Account Manager will oversee the daily management of assigned accounts, ensuring the successful implementation of marketing initiatives and the provision of exceptional service. This position is accountable for achieving commercial objectives, fostering growth from existing clients, and ensuring executional excellence in collaboration with colleagues across support functions. Inspiring and engaging our clients while delivering on key commercial principles is essential.


Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all account-related inquiries, cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, understanding their brands, business goals, and industry dynamics to develop strategies and solutions that drive business growth.
  • Drive client sales, ensuring profit targets are surpassed while strictly controlling all costs associated with team orders.
Project Coordination and Execution:
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for clients, from initial briefings to quotes, proof approvals, quality standards, and successful delivery of all items.
  • Generate accurate customer quotations, quality samples, and artwork for proposals, diligently following up on all distributed quotations to secure orders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, identifying resource needs and managing project scope, risks, and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or challenges within agreed service level agreements.
  • Collaborate effectively with all internal teams and external partners, ensuring all approvals and deadlines are met according to critical timelines.
  • Implement our Sustainability agenda and achieve key metrics concerning greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, recyclability, and more.
Brief Development and Review:
  • Work with clients to comprehend their preferences, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives, translating them into clear and actionable briefs for internal teams.
  • Review and provide feedback on creative concepts and samples, ensuring alignment with client expectations, brand standards, and project requirements.
Campaign Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for clients, summarizing project outcomes, key insights, and offering strategic recommendations for future planning and optimization.
  • Analyze management information, financial, and sales reports to ensure the achievement of objectives and budget.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of account management experience with an international company, possessing detailed knowledge of the promotions and premium industry. Experience working directly with multinational companies is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in engaging and influencing cross-functionally, particularly across multiple client marketing/brand teams and procurement teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills; proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and clearly present solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing client point-of-sale solutions, outsourcing, and experience with beverages/spirit consumer packaged goods would be advantageous.
