The Rental Sales Consultant is responsible for managing equipment rental schedules, coordinating logistics for equipment delivery and collection, and guiding customers in selecting the appropriate machinery for their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the rental of compact machinery by outlining available options, identifying the most suitable equipment for customer projects, calculating costs, and processing payments.
  • Inspects, categorizes, and prepares equipment for maintenance, cleaning, or storage.
  • Completes rental agreements, securing customer signatures and necessary documentation.
  • Manages reservations for equipment and maintains accurate records of rentals.
  • Organizes the pick-up and delivery of equipment as required.
  • Provides assistance to walk-in clients in choosing the right equipment tailored to their requirements.
  • Identifies and develops sales opportunities by researching potential clients, reaching out to new accounts, building relationships, and delivering technical insights and quotations.
  • Enhances client accounts by reviewing purchasing history, recommending related products, and explaining technical specifications.
  • Evaluates competitor offerings by analyzing market trends to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Visits client locations to assess needs and promote products, rentals, and services.
  • Supports online sales by finalizing previously coordinated transactions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company services and their role in the compact/agricultural equipment sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in inside sales.
  • Familiarity with the sales process from initiation to closure.
