We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and applying the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to patient care management.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Prioritize patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning after hospital care, and delegate tasks to others as needed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Current registration in New York State as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Saver (BCLS) certification.
- Relevant clinical competence in the area of nursing practice assigned.
