The Office Support Specialist plays a vital role in executing a variety of administrative tasks for different levels of personnel within the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating multiple projects and generating reports and information that may be highly confidential and critical, thereby supporting the objectives of local management and CorVel Corporation.
This is a temporary position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to phone inquiries and directs them appropriately. May receive, review, prioritize, and distribute incoming correspondence and materials. May manage and maintain scheduling and event calendars, including travel arrangements, customer appointments, meetings, and conference calls. Organizes and oversees document storage systems. May develop and prepare presentations, memos, reports, correspondence, and various projects. May coordinate travel, meetings, and other events, while monitoring calendars and room bookings. May assist with basic accounting tasks. Requires consistent attendance, reliability, and accountability in fulfilling job responsibilities. Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations during working hours. Engages in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload with minimal supervision. Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred. 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.COMPENSATION:
CorVel utilizes a market-based approach to compensation, and salary ranges may vary based on location. Pay rates are determined by factors such as federal, state, and local minimum wage laws, geographic location differentials, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be adjusted at any time.
For leveled positions (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be placed into a different level based on an assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may influence the salary range, and these adjustments will be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $19.43 per hour.
