Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Squirrel Hill Health Center. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, ensuring timely and accurate check-in and check-out processes.
  2. Manage patient communication, including phone calls, messages, and correspondence.
  3. Process cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile daily cash and credit card receipts.
  4. Coordinate transportation services for patients, as needed.
  5. Retrieve and respond to patient portal messages, ensuring prompt follow-up.
  6. Act as a liaison between patients, care navigators, and clinicians, facilitating smooth communication and information exchange.
  7. Collaborate with Medical Assistants and the Clinical Team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  8. Provide interpretation services to patients and staff, as needed, to ensure culturally competent care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic medical terminology and ICD-10/CPT coding knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
