Job Description

The HVAC Account Manager for Residential Sales oversees residential and contractor sales of Carrier Bryant equipment and HVAC parts, and supplies.

This role will be a crucial influence in securing new contractors and maintaining existing client relationships while being accountable for driving sales and maintaining a strong customer base in their territory.

This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze your territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs that will attract competitor accounts and new customers.
  • Create and develop long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Manage any customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and build long-term relationships with them.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities while developing and executing strategic plans to help grow existing customers' business.
  • Attend sales meetings with management to review monthly activities and progress or issues.
  • Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated performance history in sales and new market development.
  • Equipment, parts, supplies, and light commercial HVAC experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence.
  • Highly motivated self-starter that can manage time independently.
  • Strong business/problem-solving skills, high sense of urgency, and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM-Salesforce preferred.
  • Process-oriented with attention to detail.
