LiRo Architects + Planners, P.C. is a prestigious design firm seeking a Project Architect to engage in the design, documentation, and construction oversight of various projects. Our portfolio includes the renovation and expansion of existing structures as well as the design of new buildings.

This position is based in our Mineola, LI office.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and modifying architectural drawings across all project phases
  • Evaluating design documents and construction cost estimates
  • Facilitating coordination with engineering consultants and aligning documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
  • Investigating products and materials
  • Conducting constructibility assessments
Qualifications
  • A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • 2-5 years of U.S. experience in building design and preparation of construction documents
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp Pro, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
  • Familiarity with International and Local Building Codes is a plus
  • Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on diverse projects
  • Candidate should be preparing to meet all qualifications to sit for ARE and/or LEED exams

We provide a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Compensation: Minimum: $110,000; Maximum: $125,000. The range provided reflects the salary that the Firm believes, in good faith, it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and location.

The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
