About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Project Monitor to join our team at The LiRo Group. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for overseeing asbestos abatement projects throughout the NYC Metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental investigations and assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Field monitor abatement projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform XRF testing and data recording, providing accurate and reliable results.
  • Provide technical support and write reports, communicating effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • NYSDOL Certified Project Designer certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asbestos abatement design, variance petitions, and project management.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and contractors.
  • Additional certifications in asbestos, lead, mold, and OSHA are a plus.
