LiRo currently offers the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.

LiRo Architects + Planners, P.C is a prestigious design firm seeking a Design Architect to engage in the design, documentation, and construction oversight of various projects. Our portfolio includes the renovation and expansion of existing structures as well as new building designs.

This position is based in our Mineola, LI office.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and revising architectural drawings across all project phases.
  • Evaluating design documents and construction cost estimates.
  • Facilitating coordination with engineering consultants and aligning documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings.
  • Investigating products and materials.
  • Conducting constructibility assessments.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of U.S. experience in building design and preparation of construction documents.
  • Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp Pro, Rhino, 3D Max, or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with International and Local Building Codes is a plus.
  • Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on diverse projects and tasks.
  • Candidates should be preparing to meet all qualifications to sit for ARE and/or LEED exams.
