Overview

LiRo Architects + Planners, P.C., an award-winning design firm, is currently seeking a Project Architect to engage in the design, documentation, and oversight of various projects. Our portfolio includes the renovation and expansion of existing structures as well as the design of new buildings.

This role is based in our Mineola, LI office.



Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and revising architectural drawings across all project phases
  • Evaluating design documents and construction cost estimates
  • Coordinating with engineering consultants and aligning documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
  • Researching materials and product options
  • Conducting constructibility assessments


Qualifications
  • A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in building design and preparation of construction documents in the U.S.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp Pro, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
  • Familiarity with International and Local Building Codes is preferred
  • Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on various projects
  • Candidates should be preparing to fulfill qualifications for the ARE and/or LEED exams

We offer a competitive benefits package and a supportive work atmosphere.

Compensation: Minimum: $110,000; Maximum: $125,000. The salary range provided reflects the firm's good faith belief at the time of posting regarding the compensation for this position. Final compensation will be based on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.

The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
