Job Overview

Trandon Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator with a robust background in estimating to join our esteemed Luxury Residential Furniture Manufacturing firm. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Millwork and will be responsible for overseeing high-end residential projects throughout the Long Island and New York regions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork and construction within the luxury residential sector

· Manage all phases of millwork projects from initial planning through to execution

· Act as the main liaison with clients, architects, designers, and general contractors

· Create and uphold project timelines while coordinating field operations

· Collaborate closely with the field Superintendent to organize resources and manage millwork requirements on-site

· Analyze bid documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope and specifications

  • Engage with Architects/Designers/Owner Representatives during the bidding process and generate Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Prepare in-house scopes of work and cost estimates for all trades involved
  • Draft Requests for Proposals for subcontractors included in the Company’s bidding list
  • Outline project schedules for clarity and organization
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and reconcile them with internal estimates
  • Ensure subcontractor bids encompass the complete scope of work
  • Assist in maintaining the Company’s subcontractor database and historical cost records
  • Support the management of bid document logs and archives

· Source subcontractors and suppliers for project needs

· Guarantee the completeness and precision of scope in bid packages

· Coordinate, review, and approve shop drawings and samples for accuracy before submission to clients

· Propel procurement and project engineering efforts to ensure timely processing of all subcontracts, material purchases, submittals, deliveries, clarifications, and changes to meet project timelines

· Proactively address and resolve issues as they emerge

· Collaborate with finance to prepare monthly requisitions and ensure timely payments

Note: Experience in millwork is essential for this role.
