Job Title: Lead Youth Development Specialist

Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast team as a Lead Youth Development Specialist, where you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young people in our community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our youth development programs. As a Lead Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of our members.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and character development.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to our members, helping them to set and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that our programs are aligned with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast mission and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the highest quality experience for our members.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in youth development or a related field, preferably in a Boys & Girls Clubs or similar organization.
  • Valid driver's license and approved to drive by our insurance carrier (minimum age 21).
