Empowering Youth at Epworth

At Epworth Children & Family Services, we're dedicated to creating a brighter future for at-risk youth. As a Youth Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing guidance, support, and mentorship to young individuals aged 16-21. Your expertise will help them develop essential life skills, promoting social, emotional, and intellectual growth towards independent living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide youth in daily activities, adhering to the program schedule.
  • Track and document youth behavior, participation, and communication logs.
  • Implement individual treatment plans and collaborate with program members.
  • Ensure the general security, maintenance, and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Transport and accompany youth on appointments and outings.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one-year experience working with at-risk youth or adolescents.
  • Completion of at least 60 hours of college training in social sciences (preferred).
  • Class E license (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
