Job Description

Position Overview:

The Nutritional Services Coordinator at Arkansas Quality Therapy is tasked with the daily preparation of wholesome meals and snacks for children aged 12 months to 10 years enrolled in our programs. This role involves managing the kitchen environment while adhering to Health Department regulations and other relevant legislation. The Coordinator collaborates closely with the Center Director to ensure efficient kitchen operations and alignment with the center's various programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Management:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
  • Oversee the delivery and collection of meal trays to and from all on-site programs.
  • Ensure thorough clean-up after each meal service, including dishes and countertops.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of kitchen supplies and equipment.

Program Support:

  • Foster open communication with parents regarding children's dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Provide first aid assistance as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and positively within a team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to children, staff, and parents.
  • Must pass a negative criminal background check.
