Position Overview

Frost Brown Todd LLP, a prominent national law firm with a diverse team of over 1000 legal and business professionals, is seeking a full-time Litigation Support Specialist to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple urgent tasks effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, business insight, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal sources, including statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and codes.
  • Drafting legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and appeals for attorney review and approval.
  • Investigating the facts and legal aspects of cases to ascertain causes of action and prepare accordingly.
  • Filing legal documents with the court both in person and electronically.
  • Preparing affidavits and maintaining organized document files.
  • Coordinating the delivery of subpoenas to relevant witnesses and parties involved in legal actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or paralegal certification is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Skilled in working under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and multitasking as necessary.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
