In this role, you will be responsible for developing, directing, and overseeing the execution of the company’s Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, and Safety initiatives across your designated region. You will train and supervise store management and loss prevention associates to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Your leadership will play a crucial role in safeguarding our customers, associates, merchandise, and physical locations. You will also manage investigations related to asset protection incidents, driving strategies to minimize occurrences and financial losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance skills in internal and external investigations, auditing, loss reduction programs, and system controls.
  • Oversee staffing for loss prevention across all stores in the region, managing payroll and expenses in alignment with budgetary plans.
  • Conduct and manage both internal and external investigations, including interviewing, apprehension programs, audits, and loss reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with District and Store Management, Human Resources, Legal, Operations, and Control on all pertinent Asset Protection and Loss Prevention issues.
  • Maintain and monitor physical security measures and systems for all assigned locations, including CCTV, alarms, and emergency systems.
  • Contribute to the development of the Asset Protection program, providing guidance and leadership in launching new initiatives and managing training for store teams.
  • Audit the Financial, Merchandising, and Operations divisions of assigned locations, delivering focused and actionable analysis of results.
  • Establish strong relationships with law enforcement and legal professionals to effectively engage with these partners on criminal and civil matters.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of Retail Asset Protection experience, including District Management experience. Familiarity with asset protection programs and software, such as Exception Based Reporting and Case Management, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Experience in conducting internal investigation interviews and managing external apprehension programs with a proven track record of resolving incidents is necessary. Travel to all markets within the designated region is expected.
