The Wireless Technologies team is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to ensure the quality and stability of WiFi and Bluetooth technologies across all iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS platforms.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Wireless Stability Engineer, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to the stability of WiFi, Bluetooth, and Thread software on Apple devices.

The successful candidate will engage in stress and stability testing for WiFi and Bluetooth technologies and their features across iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, and Mac product lines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in testing wireless technologies:

  • WiFi and/or Bluetooth
  • Functional, Performance, or Stability Testing
  • Automation experience in programming languages such as C/C++ or scripting languages like Python/Shell is preferred.

Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies and practices.

Good knowledge of WiFi and/or Bluetooth protocols is preferred.

Familiarity with Operating System concepts.

Experience in developing test strategies and methodologies.

Ability to create automated test cases.

Excellent communication skills to drive projects across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work comfortably with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with a focus on aspects that are significant to our customers.

Enthusiastic about continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a range.

This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, with your specific pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
