Job Title: Adoption Assistance Specialist

Job Summary:

The State of Kansas is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Adoption Assistance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our adoption services, ensuring that our programs run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the adoption team, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Assist with the coordination of adoption events and activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform program development and improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a related field, such as social services or program coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
