About the Job

The Client Relationship Manager role is with our Post-Purchase/Media Department at Midland Credit Management Inc. This individual fosters relationships with internal and external partners to drive organizational success, analyzes initiatives, manages existing programs, executes on department priorities, measures against performance goals, and ensures a culture of compliance and consumer treatment in line with company values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 3rd party relationships with external issuers.
  • Oversee a global team that is responsible for accurate transactional execution.
  • Create and maintain the monitoring of reports and analytical tools to ensure accuracy, identify trends / issues / opportunities.
  • Work closely with members of the team and other departments to communicate ongoing results and suggested strategy changes.
  • Identify areas of improvement with external issuers and/or internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and present on proposed solutions while considering associated benefits, costs, and risks.
  • Manage limited scope projects related to process improvements.
  • Ensure processes are well documented and up to date.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's
  • EXPERIENCE: 1 - 3 years of experience in a project or process management role, operations management, management consulting, or equivalent education and experience.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel).
    • Program or relationship management skills, collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and analytical skills.
    • Experience using Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION: Master's Advanced
  • EXPERIENCE: 1 - 3 years of experience in financial services or Vendor / Program management.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
    • Familiarity with SAS/SQL or other data querying tools.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel).
    • Admin level experience with Salesforce.
    • Comfort with public speaking and representing corporate interests.
    • Ability to solve complex problems.
