Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Provide routine occupational therapy treatments to patients, including exercises, activities, and education.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervise rehabilitation technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in program development and contribute to the growth and development of the occupational therapy department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant or an Occupational Therapist program.
  • Current License to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
