We are currently seeking an Agricultural Sales Consultant to manage your own seed business by promoting our well-established seed genetics. In this role, you will engage in outside sales, cultivating your own client base by selling directly to farms and recruiting dealers to expand your network. This position allows for remote work, primarily focusing on a designated area without strict boundaries. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing education, and continuous support from your Regional Sales Agronomist, who will assist you with effective sales strategies and techniques.

This role can serve as your primary career focus or a part-time endeavor that complements your existing agricultural operations or business.

We offer a competitive salary/commission structure to support your initial business development. Our average Agricultural Sales Consultants earn over $140k in commissions annually, with top performers exceeding $300k. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in agriculture, farming, agronomy, seed, or agricultural equipment, preferably with a sales background.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and achieving desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary representative of the Stine brand within your designated area.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services relevant to your territory.
  • Proactively identify and secure new profitable grower accounts to drive business growth; consistently nurture relationships and document all activities using a CRM system.
  • Implement marketing strategies while promoting key products and services in targeted markets.
  • Communicate and execute our sales programs and policies within your territory to achieve district sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver exceptional sales support within your area.
  • Enhance relationships with customers and potential clients, either directly or through designated representatives.
