Fitness Experience Coordinator

At Maxx Fitness Clubs, we're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fitness Experience Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fitness and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Description
As a Fitness Experience Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Opening the club on time daily and ensuring a smooth transition to the day shift team
* Greeting members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service by saying hello and goodbye to each member
* Handling all front desk-related activities, including answering phones, checking in members, and facilitating new member sign-ups
* Providing tours to prospective members and assisting them in understanding our facilities and services
* Maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including the front desk area and surrounding spaces
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Customer service background, preferably in a fitness or retail environment
* Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn our computer operating system
* A passion for fitness and health, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
* Upbeat and positive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Punctuality and reliability, with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration

Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 18 years of age or older
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* Ability to work in a group or team setting
* Face-to-face retail customer service experience preferred
* Ability to stand and work for extended periods, with a strong focus on energy and enthusiasm
* Ability to lift weights of up to 50lbs
