We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist with expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) to assist our clients. The ideal candidate will engage in Cybersecurity analysis, engineering, and support for certification and accreditation (C&A)/Assessment and Authorization (A&A) in alignment with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), RMF, or Platform Information Technology (PIT) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of system Information Assurance documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards, including DIACAP & RMF.
  • Guarantee the seamless operation of information technology systems.
  • Maintain and support existing C&A packages.
  • Implement and uphold cybersecurity standards, including NIST and RMF C&A Standards, which encompass:
    • Reviewing, updating, validating, and authoring Cybersecurity procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
    • Maintaining an inventory of authorized software.
    • Auditing and validating configurations on laptops, workstations, and servers.
    • Auditing and validating configurations of network devices according to DISA STIGs.
    • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on data restoration capabilities.
  • Possess familiarity with HBSS and ACAS from a compliance and reporting standpoint.
  • Demonstrate system knowledge, including the ability to upload scan data.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is highly preferred, or a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with DSS RMF processes, DISA ACAS, and DoD IA compliance standards is essential.
  • Security + CE/DoD IAT-II compliance and familiarity with Navy IT/IA policies and procedures are mandatory.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to commence employment.
  • The selected applicant may undergo a security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
