Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role involves providing IT and Cybersecurity support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) Program Management Offices (PMO).

Qualifications:

  • A relevant associate's or Bachelor of Science degree is required.
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience, including at least four (4) years in Information Technology/Cybersecurity within a Coast Guard or Department of Defense (DoD) major acquisition program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Program Protection and Cybersecurity initiatives, including the preparation, coordination, and execution of meetings, documents, and events.
  • Assist in planning and supporting various business, management, functional, technical, and policy areas related to information technology and cybersecurity throughout the program lifecycle. This includes leading complex efforts by coordinating diverse groups, accurately documenting discussions and decisions, and managing strategic communications.
  • Contribute to systems engineering best practices by developing Enterprise Architecture models and maintaining essential program documents such as the Program Protection Plan and Acquisition Cybersecurity Plan. Evaluate relevant policies and doctrines, develop plans, submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and recommend resource allocations for effective C5I integration and RMF implementation.
  • Assist in the development of performance monitoring tools related to shipbuilder performance.
  • Identify issues, conduct complex analyses, and provide strategic advice to program and project leaders.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in developing Enterprise Architecture models, Program Protection Plans, and Acquisition Cybersecurity Plans, along with implementing RMF plans.
  • Familiarity with eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service) and the creation of performance monitoring dashboards.
