Job Summary

RelyOn Nutec USA LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dive Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Dive Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of students exiting the simulator from the time the simulator enters the water till the time the student has contact with the side of the pool or the shallow platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulator Safety: Possess an in-depth knowledge of all procedures relating to students egressing the simulator.
  • Dive Equipment Management: Be properly donned with all required diving equipment needed to dive.
  • Hazard Identification: Be able to identify any hazards involving the student and instructor simulator training.
  • Equipment Inspection: Be able to identify any unsafe dive equipment and report such items to the facility manager.
  • Air Supply Management: Ensure that there is always sufficient air in the tanks before commencing with any dives.
  • Procedural Adherence: Insure that the safety procedures are followed as described.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assisting Instructors: Assist instructors with practical exercises that may be required before the simulator exercises.
  • Emergency Response: Assist instructors in the event of an emergency by being alert and ready to assist a student to the surface who may have panicked inside the simulator and was assisted out the simulator by the instructor.
  • Student Support: Assist red helmet students to and from the simulator before and after each simulator exercise.
  • Medical Assistance: Be able to give medical assistance for any emergency that may occur.
  • EMS Activation: Be able to activate EMS should the emergency be beyond the diver's training qualifications.
  • Oxygen Administration: Be trained and qualified to administer oxygen.
  • Pool Support: Be ready to assist with pulling out the window or door if the student is unable to force the window or door out.
  • Pool Maintenance: Be able to retrieve any window or door from the bottom of the pool for reinsertion for the next exercise.
  • Dependability: Be prompt and dependable in accordance with scheduled obligations.
  • Clean-up: Be available to assist with any clean-up after completion of HUET exercises, including but not limited to:
  1. Equipment Storage: Putting up all dive equipment in their allocated areas.
  2. Laundry Collection: Ensuring that all laundry is collected and put in allocated areas for cleaning.
  3. Pool Cleaning: Ensuring that all change room floors are mopped up and all clean.
