Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating advanced medical imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Monitor patient vitals and report values to the physician during procedures
  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures
  • Act as liaison to the hospital Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
  • Perform quality control standards and maintain fluoroscopy equipment
  • Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations
Requirements
  • Associate degree in radiologic sciences
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of hire
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice and registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences
  • 2 years of experience as an allied health professional

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and perform complex tasks
