- At least 8 years of experience in a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis role is essential.

Job Overview
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Loan Review Manager, this position involves providing support for the independent and objective assessment of the loan portfolio's quality, the sufficiency of loan documentation, and the efficiency of loan administration processes. The role includes effective communication of review outcomes, both verbally and in writing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and consumer lending, as well as banking laws and regulations, is necessary to assist in evaluating credit risk and ensuring compliance with loan policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Assist in identifying and assessing credit, legal, and strategic risks associated with lending activities.
Evaluate the collectability of credit extensions by reviewing customer financial data, collateral information, documentation, and payment history. Assign appropriate risk grades to indicate the relative risk of default or loss. Recommend corrective measures to facilitate the resolution or management of problematic situations.
Assess the adequacy of loan and collateral documentation and the efficiency of loan administration.
Review commercial credits of varying types and complexities.
Execute tasks related to the Loan Review function, including sample selection, reviewing workpapers completed by other Loan Review personnel, and preparing reports that convey the results of the unit review.
Lead exit meetings for unit reviews.
Provide guidance to Loan Review staff.
Assist in special projects, including due diligence work.
Operate under the supervision of the Loan Review Department Manager.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Given the highly regulated nature of the banking industry, it is expected that you will acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, adhering to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to your conduct and responsibilities. Completion of all assigned compliance training in a timely manner is also required.
A solid understanding of commercial lending, including collateral documentation, accepted practices, and financial analysis skills is essential.
A willingness to collaborate as part of a team is necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Ability to effectively utilize tools provided in performing job responsibilities.
