The Pavilion at Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence.

About the Position

This role is responsible for supporting an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practicing the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, house supervisor, and charge nurse, the successful candidate will attend to patient's direct care needs and perform tasks as delegated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in delivering treatment, safety, and activities of daily living as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Performs duties assigned including observation rounding, medical procedures, leading topic-specific groups, managing milieu, training new employees, documentation, and safety rounds.
Requirements
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Must possess one of the following:
    • 2 years' experience providing patient care
    • EMT Certification
    • Medical Assistant Certification
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
