Lead Mental Health Care Specialist

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral and medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with psychiatric-mental health problems.
- Provide emergency psychiatric services, including physician and psycho-social examinations, as needed.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring proper evaluation and management of patient care.
- Collaborate with primary healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
- Perform invasive procedures, if necessary.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention strategies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Louisiana, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification as a Mental Health NP.
