Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Systems Analyst to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business issues/requirements and workflows to apply application knowledge and meet operational and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to analyze, test, and document medium to high complexity activities of assigned software.
  • Provide application support and optimization, working closely with the Service Desk to assist in responding to service requests.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of assigned applications, including relationships of infrastructure and impact to users if unavailable.
  • Serve as a liaison between business operations and providers, internal information technology, system users, and vendors to resolve issues and problems.
  • Follow strict change management processes to ensure proper approval, testing, and validation of system changes.
  • Proactively and independently troubleshoot and resolve minor incidents and requests.
  • Manage low to medium complexity projects/requests, collaborating with team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • Ability to present complex data in meaningful methods, such as charts and graphs.
  • Ability to adjust to and implement change.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Multitasking skills.
  • Work as a team member.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
  • 1+ years of experience within healthcare, business, or information systems discipline.
  • Certified or proficient in assigned Epic module (must be obtained within 6 months of employment date).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associated certifications in area of focus.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel and the ability to work additional hours as needed during critical problems.
