Role Summary:

The Insurance Collections & Denials Specialist is tasked with overseeing the billing and collection processes for insurance claims, with a focus on specialty claims. This position requires the management of billing and collections across various partner offices, addressing claim-related issues, and tracking the progress of claims with insurance providers. Furthermore, the specialist will conduct thorough reviews and investigations of denied claims, process charges, payments, and adjustments, and handle all communication related to claims and patient accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee insurance billing and collections specifically for specialty claims
  • Manage billing and collections across multiple partner offices
  • Address and resolve claim-related issues
  • Track and follow up on the status of claims with insurance providers
  • Conduct reviews and investigations of denied claims
  • Process charges, payments, and necessary adjustments
  • Handle all correspondence related to claims and patient accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections
  • Experience with specialty claims is essential

  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
