Position Title: Patient Financial Specialist

Location: Irving, TX

Contract Duration: 12 weeks

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical collections, insurance verification, and claims processing is required. The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the resolution and reconciliation of outstanding balances on patient accounts. This position operates within a collaborative team environment to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to the expectations of the relevant Competencies: Self-Leadership, Team Leadership, or Leadership of Leaders.
  • Executes Revenue Cycle operations in a manner that meets or surpasses established standards.
  • Ensures that the Patient Financial Services department meets quality and productivity benchmarks.
  • Gathers and supplies patient and payer information to aid in account resolution.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of all Government Mandated Regulations related to claims submission and conducts necessary research to ensure compliance.
  • Addresses all types of account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic communication.
