Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date data on healthcare providers for Medicare and Medicaid enrollment purposes.
  • Prepare and submit applications to Medicare and Medicaid for new provider enrollments and existing provider updates, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies and providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to enrollment or claims processing.
  • Generate reports to identify and address any outstanding claims issues or non-payment concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of enrollment and credentialing activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all relevant HIPAA guidelines to protect sensitive patient information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of experience in payer enrollment or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and planning skills.
