Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team at PayScale. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our customers understand and leverage our proprietary market-pricing databases and compensation management products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and communication of compensation analyses or salary administration plans
  • Prepare reports and presentations detailing recommendations
  • Provide consultative guidance regarding pay strategy or compensation philosophy
  • Participate in special client-focused projects to help our customers improve their internal operations
  • Provide customer and operational support by completing routine tasks associated with customer data
What You'll Do

A typical day as a Compensation Analyst may include:

  • Assisting customers over email to better understand project scope
  • Assisting customers by phone/video conference to determine compensation-related goals and objectives
  • Providing feedback to PayScale internal teams to improve products and processes
First Year in Role

Within the first year, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Complete training as a Compensation Analyst and work on customer projects independently
  • Develop proficiency on all Payscale products and with all Payscale datasets
  • Help mentor/train other new hires
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation
  • Strong customer service skills, focused on problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Research and data analysis skills and mindset
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Project management skills
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
Compensation

We offer a competitive base salary range of $66,800 - $100,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%.
