About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Stocker to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a key member of our grocery department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service: Engage with guests in a polite and friendly manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stock and Maintain Grocery Products: Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure that the sales floor and backroom areas are neat, organized, and safe for guests and employees.
  • Assist with Merchandise Receiving and Inventory: Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store, and maintain organized and inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
  • Minimize Damage and Shrink: Implement proper inventory control, rotation of shelves, and product handling to minimize damage and shrink.
  • Perform Front-End Duties: Assist with front-end duties as necessary to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our guests.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate temperature problems to supervisors and perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Friendly and Outgoing Personality: Possess a friendly and outgoing personality, with excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to Work Well with Others: Demonstrate the ability to work well with others, including colleagues and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally, as well as bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods of time.
