Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Stocker to join our team at W. Lee Flowers. As a Grocery Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our store's shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing, providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Merchandising: Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise on shelves according to company standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the sales floor and backroom areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and inventory backstock in the backroom area, minimizing damage and shrink.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including front-end duties and ordering product for aisles.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and guest service skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and demonstrate a willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of grocery operations and ability to read and understand information and direction.
