Key Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Merchandising: Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise on shelves according to company standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the sales floor and backroom areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and inventory backstock in the backroom area, minimizing damage and shrink.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 pounds constantly and 60 pounds occasionally, as well as bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and guest service skills, with the ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of grocery operations and demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
