About the Role

This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. As a Risk Department Coordinator, you will play a vital role in protecting PDS Health's assets and interests while ensuring compliance with state and federal agencies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to multitask effectively without compromising quality. You will work closely with the Lead Risk Coordinator to provide support to the Risk Department and assist in tracking and maintaining necessary licensing and office postings.

Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Documentation
    • Physical Mail: Scan and save permits to correct file folders, update the Origami system, and send necessary information to specific offices
    • Email: Respond to permit requests, save invoices to the correct file folder, and update the tracker as received
  • Reporting and Monitoring
    • Save calibration reports and installation forms for x-ray machines in the file folder, update the system and tracker
    • Ensure expiring permits are renewed at least 30 days ahead of time
  • Compliance
    • Audit and obtain x-ray machine inventory for all offices
    • Audit and obtain all applicable permits to ensure that Risk has copies on file for all offices
  • Ad Hoc Projects
    • Support three Risk Coordinators with special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • GED degree
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Willingness to learn and adjust course as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of risk, compliance, or bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of business license and permit processing
  • Insurance/Risk experience
Salary and Benefits

Pacific Dental Services offers a competitive salary range of $16.32-$27.46 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401K, and paid volunteer time.
