Job Overview

As a Sales Account Executive at Kruse Feed & Supply Inc., you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding our client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships, devising strategies to enhance account growth.
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities in the logistics sector, particularly focusing on flatbed and heavy haul freight.
  • Conduct pre-sales activities, including crafting tailored action plans, developing customized presentations, and performing thorough research to establish senior-level connections with prospective clients.
  • Utilize relationship-building techniques to uncover additional customer needs, aiming to increase volume through a compelling value proposition.
  • Meet and exceed personal sales objectives and market targets while ensuring a profitable territory.
  • Engage in rate negotiations with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to formulate pricing strategies and implement account plans effectively.
  • Work alongside the operations team to guarantee customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in B2B logistics sales.
  • Experience in domestic truckload brokerage services is essential.
  • Familiarity with flatbed and/or over-dimensional freight is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and selling to large, complex accounts.
  • Proficient in employing diverse sales techniques, including phone, email, and detailed proposals to close deals effectively.
  • Strong strategic mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, negotiation expertise, and business insight.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including C-Level executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exemplary integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • A competitive, resilient attitude with a robust work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
