What impact will you create?
As an Account Executive within the Production Process and Analytics (PPA) sector of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will be instrumental in driving our sales and commercial initiatives. By spearheading the sales and account management efforts for the Quality Control Systems (Gauging) in our established markets, you will significantly contribute to enhancing growth and profitability. Reporting to the Commercial Leader EMEA, this role will focus on cultivating and sustaining robust customer relationships, identifying opportunities for expansion, and enhancing market penetration. Your sales acumen and strategic mindset will be vital in achieving our sales and profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve Sales Objectives- Provide and achieve forecasts in bookings and revenue.
- Collaborate with external partners or engage directly with clients.
- Enhance long-term business outcomes and strengthen partnerships.
- Select, train, and empower agents and channel partners.
- Optimize reporting of sales data through CRM (SFDC) and other tools.
- Communicate effectively and share market insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication and responsiveness.
- Deliver exceptional results to improve customer experiences.
- Effectively promote our offerings to clients.
- Work collaboratively with other territories, product lines, product management, and service teams.
- Ensure a cohesive and aligned approach across functions.
- Be prepared to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
Education
Bachelor's degree in sciences or an equivalent technical background.
ExperienceYou should possess a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, showcasing a proven track record of success. Experience in sales to industrial clients within the Metal, Packaging, Converting, and/or Battery Manufacturing sectors will be highly advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesTo excel in this role, you should have the following:
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Languages: Proficiency in French and English for business communication. Additional languages, particularly Italian and Spanish, are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications (knowledge of SFDC is preferred).
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commercial excellence in a matrix environment.
- Valid driving license.
