System Stroke Medical Director Opportunity

UofL Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Stroke Medical Director to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality stroke care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve operational planning, budgeting, and equipment selection
  • Provide leadership and guidance on performance improvement and measurement initiatives
  • Monitor and assist with the execution of quality and safety processes
  • Facilitate communication between providers and staff
  • Maintain compliance with certification, licensure, and accreditation requirements

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
  • Eligibility for state licensure in the United States
  • US residency or fellowship training in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
