**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a critical role in our month-end closing and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements for our growth-oriented organization.

**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, including documentation and presentation of results to management and senior leadership.
  • Ensure accounting practices and documentation procedures are performed in accordance with accounting and governance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in key corporate Treasury projects such as system upgrades, automation efforts, enhancements, or process improvements.
  • Engage in discussions on financial results with key business partners and provide ad hoc analysis as needed.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 1 year of accounting, or finance, or audit experience or a combination.
  • At least 1 year of experience in banking or in reconciliation or a combination.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • At least 1 year of experience with Python or SQL.
  • At least 2 years of accounting, or finance, or audit experience or a combination.
  • At least 2 years of experience in banking or in reconciliation or a combination.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
