About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated accountant to join our Financial Services Accounting team within the Controllers Group as a Senior Associate. This role emphasizes the effective management of our routine operations.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and/or review both regular and special journal entries with precision and timeliness.
2. Conduct and/or review balance sheet account reconciliations for your designated responsibilities.
3. Generate and communicate regular and special reporting and analytics, presenting insights to leadership during monthly financial meetings.
4. Address SEC and regulatory reporting requests as needed.
5. Implement and adhere to accounting policies and procedures relevant to your area of responsibility.
6. Provide assistance to CORE, audit, and compliance teams as required.
7. Drive enhancements in processes within your assigned area.
8. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to create compelling narratives that clarify financial outcomes.
9. Act as a team lead, offering guidance and tactical support for deliverables assigned to fellow associates.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 3 years of experience in team supervision
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting
