Key Responsibilities- Provide Tax Compliance and Advisory Services: Offer expert tax guidance to individuals, trusts, and estates, focusing on complex individual, fiduciary, gift, and estate tax matters.
- Develop and Manage Client Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Participate in Business Development: Engage in networking activities to further develop business opportunities and client relationships as part of the proposal process.
- Manage and Develop Tax Staff: Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Review and Delegate Tax Work: Review returns prepared by tax interns, associates, and senior associates, and effectively delegate responsibilities to others.
- Stay Current with Tax Developments: Successfully research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and clearly communicate those findings in writing.
- Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- Professional Certifications: CPA license required.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing multiple client engagements and supervising tax staff.
