Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated administrative assistant to provide support to the Director of the Center for Residential Surveillance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-volume office setting and possess a strong work ethic.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple, shifting priorities
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Experience in professional correspondence with healthcare professionals
- High level of familiarity with electronic databases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of various healthcare entities, including healthcare institutions
- Familiarity with the Health Commerce System and the Statewide Financial System
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Previous experience in a similar role within the organization
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage various tracking and database systems
- Prepare diverse correspondence, reports, and written materials
- Handle inquiries regarding policies or procedures and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Coordinate and set up meetings for senior staff members
- Process incoming mail and fax documents
- Perform faxing and photocopying tasks
- Conduct data entry and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems
