Position Overview

OCT Consulting, LLC is a recognized small business management and technology consulting firm, certified by the SBA as an 8(a) entity, dedicated to providing comprehensive support to Federal Government clients. Our expertise spans various domains including Strategy, Process Optimization, Change Management, Program and Project Oversight, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

We are currently seeking motivated Junior Acquisition Professionals who possess 1-3 years of experience in Contract Specialist roles or related fields in Contracting and Procurement. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the procurement and management of government acquisitions across diverse vehicle types, including but not limited to fixed price, time and materials, cost/cost-plus, interagency agreements, IDIQ, and BPA. Experience in supporting an acquisition office within the Contract and Procurement Series, 1102 is highly desirable. This experience may be gained as a federal employee, contractor supporting federal operations, or a combination of both.

Key Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of comprehensive federal contract experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge in contract support encompassing:
    • Market Research and Pre-solicitation activities
    • Solicitation Phase tasks
    • Post Award Contract Administration responsibilities
    • Closeout Phase processes
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance, which includes a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
  • Must be a US Citizen
