About the Position:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. This role involves selling and introducing our company to new and existing clients, as well as quoting customers and taking orders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and expanding our customer database.
  • Attending sales group meetings.
  • Capturing accurate and complete information in our customer relationship management system.
  • Quoting and handling order execution from acceptance to completion.
  • Coordinating with customers and our traffic dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Communicating with customers about market trends and capturing feedback.
  • Obtaining and providing competitor pricing and equipment information to management.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Managing a database of potential customers and contacting them regularly for new opportunities.
  • Collaborating with our Outside Sales Representatives to build a pipeline of opportunities and close sales.
  • Making outbound sales calls to prospect new customers.
  • Notifying our Quality and Operations teams of customer suggestions or complaints.
  • Utilizing our CRM software to track important customer interactions.
  • Supporting our company's Quality System.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience in sales.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing, number key, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
