Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at Tamarack Resort. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our guests.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our culinary team, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of our culinary staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality control, ensuring that all food products meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring that our culinary operations are profitable and efficient.
Requirements
  • Education: Two-year culinary arts degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of related experience as a sous chef or chef de cuisine, with three to five years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment, as well as previous experience maintaining professional and respectful work relationships.
